I’d start by saying I never intended on staying here, I saw the price and immediately radiated towards the cheapest one nighter motel I was familiar with. Let’s say you get what you pay for in the best of ways. The staff was very accommodating, the rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. The covers are thin so putting your AC on a higher temperature would help. The walls are thin so you hear whatever noise passes your doors (which isn’t much), and the breakfast was essentially what anyone would need to survive until lunch time. Ideally you won’t book a Super 8 for an extended stay so it’s perfect for what it’s for. It served its purpose and I’m grateful. They’re doing an outstanding job and they should keep it up! Thank you Super 8!

This Super 8 was nice. It was a last minute booking when the hotel we thought we were going to stay in was gross. The Super 8 was clean in a way that didn't feel gross, but they weren't completely clean. Beds & the important parts were clean, so it wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast - yes it's included. It's not a full spread, just self serve waffles & cereal. Milk was suspect the day we were there. Waffles were a little soggy, in my opinion. But it was food & we were grateful. Location - it's not beachfront, but it's within 15 of the beach. Right next to Hwy17 & Market Commons made it easy to get things we needed & was pretty close to anything we wanted to do.

I FULLY RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL FOR ANYONE SEEKING A BARGAIN WITH ALL THE HIGH PRICES OUT THERE TODAY. IT WAS A VERY GOOD PLACE FOR THE LOWER PRICE I PAID. Check in was at 4pm but I arrived at around 3pm and they still let me check in. The young man that checked us in on Friday was VERY polite and helpful. No complaints. No disturbances on any night of my stay. The employee that was out front smoking that I read about in one of their reviews, was still outside smoking. Not a problem, the man is entitled to do what he wants on break or if not needed at the time. EVERYTHING worked (ice machine, laundry, iron, air-conditioning, plenty of hot water, elevator, vending machines, security lights, etc) with the exception of one drink machine.

I'm here for work, and after five nights out of the 10 scheduled, I feel confident enough in my experience to leave a review. Cons- The walls are thin so ear plugs are a must if you need to sleep through the night. I am staying on the first floor, so it's going to see more traffic than the others, and the door to the lobby gets slammed often throughout the day. You can also easily hear conversations from the lobby and the housekeeping as they roll the carts down the hall. Breakfast is pretty simple with waffles and some pastries or cereal, along with coffee, juice and tea. I prefer to see at least one protein source when staying at hotels but I'm great full for the meal regardless. It's also located next to a busy road so the traffic can be a bit distracting as well. The beds are also pretty firm, but that is a con specifically to me and might be a pro for others Pros- The staff is amazing! I brought my own blankets so I felt more at home and they made our beds for us daily. They also gave us fresh towels and washcloths every day. Most hotels I stay at don't give you new ones unless you ask, but the workers here made sure we had clean cloths to wash with, which I greatly appreciate after working 12hr days in the sun and sand. The lobby is clean and the staff was so friendly when we asked where to find the ice and when they asked us what room we prefer. They offer smoking rooms as well for those who don't want to walk out at night. The pool is also very clean and outside so you get to enjoy the sun. Overall, most of the cons can't be helped because of the building itself. I would prefer more breakfast options that have protein, like a frozen breakfast sandwich you could just microwave, or maybe boiled eggs and yogurt cups. But for the most part I am enjoying my stay.

I loved the upgraded king room, easy access to beach and shopping. Sedate and family oriented. Not easy to find for 75 dollars a night, highly recommend!

Close by to work and stayed a few nights over the summer, very clean and "somewhat" affordable. I'd like to stay again due to its prime location but they do not offer monthly rates. The room was simple and basic but clean and well tended to. The pool was tiny but again well maintained, staff I didn't see at all besides front desk and when getting breakfast which was also a nice touch. All 5 stars if there were better rates.

I would not recommend unless you are on a budget or you can just save up until you can get a better Hotel. I seen a lady on social media that stated never book online it cheaper to pay when you arrive at the hotel. She was right and I could have saved $115 if I would have listened to her. ***My Review this was my experience*** All my time of coming to Myrtle Beach I have never had to stay at a off beach hotel, but we had made beachfront reservations from July 6th-8th, then we realized we could go on the 5th last minute. All the beachfront hotels rooms was asking for $375 on up, so we decided for the first night we could stay at a different hotel that not on the beach to make it cheaper. We search and found Super 8 by Wyndham and I thought the price was pretty okay. Wyndham is a know brand and for the most part has nice hotels. This hotel on the outside was nothing fancy and the hotel was located off a road in the cut, in a weird location, but not a dead end. The front desk gentleman was very nice and we had a great little conversation. He did ask which floor I would like and accommodated my request, that I wanted a highway view. I did however book through the website directly and asked for a corner room on a high floor, but I got neither. I did not choose the high floor which is the 4th floor because front desk gentleman let me know he had put mainly everyone with a dog on that floor which is fine. I always request a corner room for all hotels I book because I have a Autoimmune disease and have high Generalized Anxiety don’t want to take the ride of getting sick. I was assigned room 205, which is a King room, it was a corner room, but I just was tired and did not want any issues. Side note- on the website it was very easy to book and I loved the option of being able to pay at the hotel. The hotel is family friendly, there were families in the small pool when we arrived. When we walked in the room, I felt moisture in the air and I knew immediately it was going to be a long night … The room was nothing fancy, but nice. I think the king mattress in our room (205) was new and it was soft. The only minor thing that wasn’t clean was the night stands. The lamps has plugs which is great. The bathroom was clean and you get a microwave, small fridge with freezer, coffee pot and big tv. The free continental breakfast consisted of, making your own fresh waffle, fruit, coffee, orange and apple juice and other small pastries, such as coffee cakes. The morning front desk young lady was awesome also. The customer service is Top tier. My only problem was the toilet kept running, would not flush all the way and the water was not filling back up. I had to keep using the coffee pot to fill the water up, by taking off the lid of the toilet. I did report the toilet issue to young lady at the front desk. The walls are super thin you can hear a pin drop. I would not stay here again for my own personal reason and health issues, but don’t let my review steer you away from saving some money. Pros: Free parking, off main road from traffic, my mattress was soft, the headboard looked hand painted and was so pretty, bathroom stocked and clean, lamps have 2 plugs a piece, they offer free breakfast, AC is ran by wall thermostat, check in process for me was easy and the front desk has good customer service. Kudos to the front desk gentleman that checked me in at around 6pm July 5th. The hotel front desk workers have excellent customer service skills and I want y’all to know both of you are awesome! It just sucks I couldn’t get no sleep Cons: Small pool, only 1 elevator and it’s small, popcorn ceilings, outdated but clean some, toilet did not work, room had a moisture in the air, so my body felt wet and my nose was stuffy and didn’t sleep, 2 small pillows per person, wall color is not appealing, floor felt moist, you can hear everything and everyone, people was up all night walking in the hallways and they had a lot of dogs big & small. If you have a iPhone the WiFi is a hit or miss, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
